Software Engineer (PHP/LAMP)

Locations: Dhaka Development Center, Dhaka

We are hiring PHP/LAMP Engineers to be the core technical team that takes Noocleusmedia to the next level. We're looking for a technical guru who has strong entrepreneurship and is willing to take the lead and enjoys growing with us. The job includes, but is not restricted to, the following responsibilities:

· Strong OO PHP programming, with demonstrated experience in existing websites
· Work closely with Engineers and Product Management to deliver on-time, robust applications
· Participate in strategic decisions about technology, architecture and implementation of various components/applications.

Qualifications:

· Looking for a true PHP programmer that loves to hack code in several languages and has fun doing it.
· Design, develop, maintain and optimize secure and scalable multi-tier web applications.
· Strong knowledge of PHP, Perl, ROR, JavaScript, UNIX shell, SQL, HTML, CSS, XML.
· Comfortable with both object oriented and procedural programming methodologies.
· Experience with PHP5 and MySQL5 preferable.
· Experience with C, C++, Java, Python, and other languages a plus.
· Knowledge installing, configuring and maintaining Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP packages.
· Strong knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, indexes, table normalization and database design.
· Experience with CodeIgniter, Joomla, Drupal, Zen cart, Different Javascript Library (e.g Jquery, Mootools etc) is a BIG plus.
· Knowledge of AJAX development a plus.
· Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices.
· Proficiency in working and developing on Linux (any flavor debian, redhat, ubuntu, slackware etc.
· Create cutting-edge web applications while solving complex programs and analyzing extremely high-traffic web data.
· Quick learner, ability to learn new technologies and deliver within tight schedules.
· Excellent sense of urgency and respecting deadlines very well.
